About Me

I’m a doctoral student in Criminology, Law & Society at the University of California, Irvine.

My research interests center on how structural disadvantages and individual decision-making shape public health and safety outcomes. My works are often derived from mixed methods, such as big data analysis of administrative and historical data, survey design and analysis, and qualitative interviews and field observations.

Currently, I’m working on my doctoral thesis that focuses on firearm divestment: when and why people voluntarily relinquish firearms, and what policies can support safe, timely removal.
